Our client is an established company with a base in Cork that provides facilities management and support services solutions. They are looking for an Industrial Cleaning Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis to lead the industrial cleaning team in the Cork region.
This position can be worked on a hybrid basis with travel required to sites in Cork and occasionally the wider Munster region. Weekend availability will be required occasionally.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure all activities meet business, customer needs, and the operational schedule, while delivering contracts in line with KPIs and commercial terms.Oversee the completion of team rosters, manage resources, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients.Provide leadership, supervision, and support to ensure high service quality, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and open communication.Ensure the team receives appropriate training and uses key systems and tools, with regular refresher courses and maintained records.Manage recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention, while compiling operational reports and supporting tenders.Proactively manage risks, health & safety, security, and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.Maintain and store equipment in line with safety regulations, ensuring proper use of chemicals and tools to minimize accidents.Ensure all activities within industrial cleaning and facilities are executed to the highest standards and in line with safety regulations.Requirements: 2 years minimum management experience in a similar role.Background in a facilities, cleaning or industrial role.Successful in leading and developing teams.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Strong numeric and commercial insight to proactively manage strategic accounts.Full, clean driver's license.Safe Pass Certificate – preferable but not essential.
