Instructional Designer - Galway I am currently seeking an Instructional Designer for my client based in Galway. This is a full-time permanent position with a hybrid option available.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about designing engaging and effective e-learning courses and programs. You will also have strong technical skills, solid business insight, and the ability to simplify complex concepts.

This position will be responsible for creating engaging self-paced e-learning courses and other learning content. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding customer experience from onboarding to graduation and renewal.

Role responsibilities: Work alongside copywriters to turn written materials into engaging e-learning courses. Create immersive educational experiences using a variety of mediums to maximize engagement (e.g. diagrams, videos, activities, assessments, scenarios, interactive exercises). Utilize style guides, user experience best practices, and user feedback to create courses that are easy to navigate. Manage ongoing maintenance or application for new accreditation for new credentials for the programs. Maintain courses and organize course documents and assets. Own usage of the learning management system. Run regular reporting across courses and users and partner with internal teams to drive customer adoption. Provide administrative support and customer support to customers of bespoke programs, including responding to customer inquiries, managing users, and updating content. Equip the customer support team with FAQs and guides to answer customer inquiries. Manage and maintain documentation for onboarding across our customer groups. Required Experience/Skills: 2-5 years of experience in curriculum and instructional design for adult learners in an e-learning environment. In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models. Strong project management skills. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Experience with a learning management system, ideally Thought Industries. Experience with authoring technologies, ideally Articulate Rise 360.
