International Payroll Specialist

Job Description Due to the continued expansion of the business, King & Moffatt Building Services require an International Payroll Specialist to join our growing Finance Team.
This newly created role will report directly to the Head of Finance and will involve day-to-day interactions with the entire finance team and as well as department heads across the business.
Responsibilities will include: Managing the payroll and tax compliance for subsidiaries in the UK, EU and North America Ensuring that all payroll inputs are accurate before submitting to external payroll provider Advising the business on cross border matters, particularly PAYE and social security Managing periodic VAT returns for each jurisdiction Overseeing the corporate income tax submissions for each country Ensuring intercompany transactions comply with the Group Transfer Pricing policy Managing the R&D tax process for UK & Ireland Managing tax compliance for onboarding of subcontractors to ensure that our supply chain is compliant with HMRC's interpretation of IR35 and similar legislation in other EU countries Acting as the first point of contact with Tax Authorities in each jurisdiction Advising on tax implications of other ad hoc transactions Qualifications Relevant finance/accounting qualification with post-qualification experience Experience in cross border payroll in the EU is essential Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills including report writing and presentation skills.
