Role Purpose We are seeking a skilled and proactive SharePoint and Power Platform Administrator to join our dynamic IT team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our SharePoint environments, ensuring optimal functionality, and supporting the integration and administration of Microsoft's Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
You will collaborate closely with various teams to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and ensure seamless business processes using these tools.

The responsibilities & competencies required for the role of the IT SharePoint and Power Platform Administrator with Horse Racing Ireland are as follows: Key Responsibilities Design & Develop Automated Workflows with Power Automate Manage SharePoint Sites & Permissions Develop & Maintain SharePoint Solutions Perform SharePoint Maintenance Activities (backups, security audits, optimization) Train Internal Staff on Power Platform & SharePoint Tools Provide Ongoing Technical Support for Users Stay Current with Latest Power Platform & SharePoint Technologies Integrate Power Automate & SharePoint with Existing Systems Collaborate with Business Units to Drive Automation & SharePoint Adoption Track Usage & Performance, Generate Reports Skills and Experience Technical Skills: Proven experience administering and configuring SharePoint sites, libraries, and workflows.
Working knowledge of Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) and its capabilities for building automated workflows.
Understanding of security best practices for managing user access and permissions in SharePoint.
Familiarity with SharePoint Online administration tools and functionalities.
Experience integrating SharePoint and Power Automate with other systems (a plus).
Experience: 2+ years of experience administering SharePoint and/or related collaboration platforms.
Experience automating business processes using workflow tools (preferred).
Additional Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support internal users.
Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into actionable solutions using Power Platform and SharePoint.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize platform performance.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Power Platform and SharePoint features.
Desirable Skills: Certifications in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Power Platform (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Microsoft Certified Power Platform Specialist).
Experience with other Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, OneDrive).
