As part of the IT department, we ensure a modern IT and telecommunications infrastructure, implement professional IT solutions and secure the IT operations of the City of Munich with over 1,200 employees in our own company it@M. What you can expect You will work on lifecycle projects for enterprise VPN and remote maintenance systems and support the specialist departments in testing as part of client development and configuration of remote maintenance access.
You will be involved in the planning and development of new solutions and their integration into the existing IT landscape.
In cooperation with the city's SIEM team, you will ensure security.
In particular, this requires prompt adjustments to the central VPN gateways in the event of threats.
You will carry out error analysis in the event of access problems and ensure service quality and availability through maintenance and optimization of the systems and rolling 24/7 on-call duty (scope: 7 days every 6 to 7 weeks).
You will work closely with other network teams (e.g.
in the areas of firewall, web application firewall, load balancer).
Due to the special nature of the role, flexibility in working hours is required (to a small extent: weekend work, shift work or on-call duty).
