We are currently recruiting a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support the management and execution of projects for clients in the Limerick / Midwest / Galway areas.
The Junior Mechanical Engineer will support senior engineers and project managers on the execution of large projects, providing great exposure to larger projects.
Responsibilities Support senior engineers and project managers with project coordination, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to specification.Interface with clients, vendors, client project management, and other disciplines ensuring the highest level of service is provided.Interface with client design teams/end users.Build effective communication between the team, clients, and stakeholders.Mechanical optimization/site support.Ensure key deliverables as per client standards are adhered to.Prepare technical reports and documentation.Work closely with the electrical team to ensure seamless management of mechanical and electrical systems.Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.Participate in regular project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Self-starter with confidence in coordinating the efforts of others.Good communication skills (ability to lead technical reviews with clients and suppliers).Openness to travel to where equipment is being manufactured.
