Junior .Net Developer – Mayo/Remote Our client, a leading provider of EPOS systems in the UK & Ireland seeks to hire a Junior .Net Developer to join their reporting team and develop applications for the retail/hospitality industries.

Responsibilities:Work in the Reporting division on work items managed through Azure boards in 3-week sprints.Develop applications in C#.Carry out testing and fix software bugs.Deploy patches to a global market, remotely follow up and take remedial action on software updates.Liaising with Project Managers and 3rd Line Senior Support.Requirements:Candidates must possess a Degree/Diploma (or equivalent) in a computing discipline with software development.Knowledge of software architecture and lifecycle (loosely coupled systems, dependency injection, service-oriented architectures).Experienced in use of an object-oriented Language (e.g. C#, C++).Application Development experience on Microsoft .NET platform.Knowledge of Cloud Computing services such as Azure functions, webhooks.Software Testing experience.SQL DB knowledge - Stored Procedures etc.Exposure to reporting tools (such as Telerik Report Designer, Power BI).Exposure to Devops/Version Control tools is an advantage.Experience of the Retail industry is an advantage.Candidates must hold full working rights without restriction in the Republic of Ireland in order to be considered for this role i.e. Stamp 4 Visa, EU citizenship.
