Job DescriptionThe POS UAT team operates within the wider Product Enablement Department. Operating in a key business environment, ensuring that Elavon POS solutions are certified to the highest standards, prior to deployment in a live environment. This position will be responsible for UAT, QA, Documentation, Training, Operations / Sales support on all certified POS solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Ability to identify and deliver process improvements within the POS delivery processWorking effectively with a number of internal departments including but not limited to Operations, POS Vendors groups to resolve open product issues in an efficient and effective mannerProvide support in terms of research and problem solving to internal and external customersDesigning of test cases, plans and suites, as requiredExecution of test cases, plans and suites, as requiredRemain informed of relevant card scheme requirementsPreparation of QA evaluation reports and submission of the report to test schemesEnsure all solutions are fully tested, certified and documented, in accordance with Elavon and scheme guidelinesSupport solution during, certification and go-live stagesConduct face-to –face meetings or conference calls with customers or colleagues during all phases of the projectMaintain correct and accurate records for audit purposesEnsure that the solution is compliant with mandated security use policies and other published security policies, standards and best practiceManaging projects efficiently and within agreed timelinesTechnical requirements: 2 years UAT/Testing/QA experience or similar2 years payments industry experienceISTQB Qualification or similarKnowledge of modern test methodologiesKnowledge of payment protocols and scheme specific payment requirements extremely desirableGeneral requirements: Strong technical and analytical skills – ability to understand the complete payment process flow and connecting system/applicationProven problem solving skillsExcellent English language skills, both verbal and writtenKnowledge and skills in the use of technologies for detecting and tracking defectsUnderstanding and knowledge of quality assurance processes and methods used in software developmentAbility to communicate complex messages, system solutions or issues using appropriate language, both written and oral.Team Player; ability to work with users and management to analyze user requirementsAbility to set and work to fixed deadlines.Flexible, self-reliant and self-organized. Ability to work independently and remote to othersBe able to work under pressure and react to ever-changing user requirementsCan travel both within and outside of Ireland as requiredUnderstands the competitive landscape; has the ability to clearly articulate the differentiation and value proposition associated with Elavon's capabilities versus its competitorsHybrid/flexible schedule: The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
