We are currently recruiting for Catering Assistant/Cleaning staff, with an average of 20-40h per week Monday - Sunday.
9am-5pm Location : Kinsale, Cork Purpose of the Role To undertake daily catering duties in line with Health & Safety Standards.
The catering assistant will work within a team to ensure that the catering is kept to the highest standards.
Job Description The following are key areas of responsibility for the catering assistant: Be ready to serve food within the time assigned by management.
Unload the dishwasher and clean the filter and dishwasher.
Collect jugs from the resident's room, wash them in hot soapy water, and return back to rooms daily.
Check and clean the tea trolley.
Check fridge and freezer temperatures in the kitchenette.
Check pantry for daily supplies, and restock containers daily.
Make sure before filling and restocking containers are washed in hot soapy water Clean fridge, microwave, toaster, oven, refill dishwashing liquid, check rinse aid in dishwasher Clean, disinfect and polish the kitchen and kitchenette Undertake general cleaning of all non-clinical areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets, etc.
Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required Organize necessary supplies for cleaning toilet facilities General housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes Undertake any other duties as requested We are happy to hear from anyone with skills in any of these areas.
Requirements: A can-do attitude Experience of a similar role Good working knowledge of English Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
