M&E Quantity Surveyor

Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career with a dynamic and progressive engineering company?
Rockwell is currently in a phase of significant growth in Ireland and because of this, we are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has had exposure to both mechanical and electrical disciplines would be advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities:       Estimate on projects of all sizes, from small to large, across a variety of industries.
      You will be involved in the full tender process from beginning to completion.
      Liaise with relevant parties on an on-going basis.
      You will work closely with Directors and Project Managers on bid prospects.
      Attend pre and post tender interviews.
      Assemble sub-contract quotes while ensuring they comply with the spec.
      Attend meetings both internal and client based where required.
      Complete take-offs from tender drawings.
      Manage Variations on the projects and issuing timely updates to the project Managers       Project Reporting and Monthly Claim Management   Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:       Degree Qualification or relevant trade background in the Construction Industry.
      Experience in Pharmaceutical projects is advantageous, demonstrating your understanding of industry best practices and technologies.
      Design build experience and experience working on projects with live environments would be beneficial.
      Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
      Excellent organisational and planning skills.
      Proficiency in MS Office systems required.
      Experience using estimating software such as Total Estimating or similar.
      Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development.
      3+ years of experience in an estimating role with high value Projects.
