Using your skills and experience, the successful Maintenance Manager will support the Production department to achieve optimum outputs while ensuring safe and efficient running of equipment and machinery. Requirements: Solid previous experience within manufacturing maintenance, with ideally 5+ years in a people management position. Engineer or trade qualified. Thorough understanding of production maintenance and best industry practices. Knowledge and experience with TPM, PPM, CBM, RCM. Experience with CMMS systems, SAP will be an advantage. Quick learner and can identify process improvements. Stores and stock control. Excellent problem solving, communication and RCA skills. Can multi-task and is an effective decision maker. Key Duties & Responsibilities: On site management of all maintenance day to day activities. Provide leadership and support to team andensure work is carried out in compliance with legislation and health & safety protocols. Positively reinforce values & maintenance strategy. Prioritise and manage maintenance workload. Drive Continuous Improvement culture & ideas. Identify cost savings and cost efficiency within the manufacturing operation. Ensuring all Maintenance personnel are trained & developed so that optimum operational performance is achieved. Working closely with managers & teams to ensure that all issues are dealt with through open communications & teamwork. Mentor & coach team using RCA techniques to quickly identify root cause of downtime issues. Ensuring CMMS is used to its full potential and departments actively use system to prevent reactive work. Continuously updating SAP CMMS to prevent future downtimes by continuously updating TPMs and PMs. Identify future site CAPEX projects before they affect KPI performance. Work with Engineering Project Manager & Plant Manager to implement strategy, standards & new techniques. Communicate with group maintenance departments and able to travel if required. Provide regular updates to management. Tasks may require flexible working hours to meet the demands of the site.
