What type of work will you be doing?
What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?You need to be a Supervisor / Team Leader managing a diverse Team.Your goal is to ensure the plant meets its customer quality, service, regulatory financial and safety goals through effective supervision of the manufacture and testing of diagnostic products for the plant's product range.You will be experienced in working in a fast moving manufacturing environmentExperience of manufacturing is essential to understand the day-to-day work practices of the area under supervision.Responsibilities:To ensure continual compliance with the policies relating to personnel, quality, engineering, safety and finance.To support new product and process transfers and to ensure a steady, timely flow of new products.To directly supervise the workforce in the manufacturing areas to ensure production targets in terms of quality, quantity, safety, wastage and mix are attained.Qualifications/experience: A relevant degree or equivalent in a Business, Engineering or Science discipline is desirable with a minimum of 3-5yrs experience working in a regulated environment which includes 1+years in a people management role.What is the leadership like for this role?
This role reports to Denise Hannigan, one of our Manufacturing Managers.You will join Denise's Team that includes Manufacturing Team Leaders, Technical Leader, Operations / Manufacturing Technical Leader(s) /Specialist, and Operations Technician(s).
