Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities: Contribute to mechanical maintenance to optimise plant performance and safety.
Use spare parts efficiently, following budget guidelines and the maintenance management system.
Ensure maintenance plans and targets are met safely, economically, and within environmental limits.
Assist with planning, carry out fault diagnosis, and plant inspections as needed.
Proactively solve problems and contribute to innovative solutions.
Participate in the implementation of the Plant Business Management System, including the Safety Release programme.
Perform preventative maintenance and report on activities within the Maintenance Management System.
Work collaboratively with teams to provide flexible, high-quality maintenance resources.
Ensure all work is conducted safely, following safety guidelines and the work permit system.
Actively engage in the Performance Management process to meet team objectives.
Requirements: HND, HC, or equivalent technical qualifications or equivalent experience.
5+ years' experience in a similar role.
Level 6 qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
Proficient IT skills and experience with maintenance management systems, including preventative maintenance planning and reporting.
