These duties may include manual labour, equipment operation, basic maintenance, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
You will report directly to the supervisor or team leader and ensure that work processes are completed effectively and on time. Key ResponsibilitiesManual Labor: Assist with basic manual tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials, equipment, or products.Equipment Operation: Operate machinery or tools as required, ensuring safe and effective use.Assembly/Production Support: Assist in the production or assembly, ensuring that products are assembled correctly.Quality Control: Inspect products or materials for defects or issues and report any problems to supervisors.Inventory Management: Help with the storage, organization, and management of inventory.Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring that the workspace is clean, organized, and free from hazards.Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning of the work area, machinery, or tools as needed.
Maintain equipment in good working order by reporting any faults.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure the completion of tasks and support colleagues where needed.General Support: Assist in other areas as required to help meet business objectives, including loading/unloading deliveries or assisting with stocktaking. Qualifications and Experience RequiredNone  Mechanical Fitter (Starting salary €32,000)The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical components, machinery, and equipment.
This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, problem-solving skills, and a high level of technical knowledge to maintain the functionality and efficiency of mechanical systems. Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly and Installation:Assemble and fit mechanical components into machinery, ensuring correct alignment and operation.Install equipment and machinery according to specifications and technical drawings.Perform pre-operational testing and ensure that all systems are functioning as intended.Maintenance and RepairsDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.Technical Support:Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.Collaborate with engineers and other team members to modify, upgrade, or improve equipment.Provide technical support and guidance during installations and modifications.Safety and Compliance:Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to proper health and safety procedures.Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used.Report any issues or potential problems to supervisors or engineers.Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance schedules.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time.Communicate effectively to ensure that mechanical systems operate efficiently. Qualifications and Experience RequiredLevel 6 (or equivalent) 3-4 years  OEM Fitter (Starting salary €32,000)The OEM Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment used in manufacturing processes.
The role involves reading and interpret technical drawings, pneumatic, electric and hydraulic schematics, and specifications, and ensuring that all components are correctly fitted and aligned.
The OEM Fitter works to ensure that equipment is installed and maintained to meet high standards of performance and safety. Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly and Installation:Fit, assemble, and install machinery and equipment components in accordance with manufacturer specifications and drawings.Ensure the proper alignment and functioning of parts, ensuring machines operate efficiently and safely.Assemble and integrate automation systems including electric/electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic components;Troubleshooting and Maintenance:Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.Replace damaged or worn-out parts.Quality Control:Ensure all equipment and machinery meet quality and safety standards.Conduct quality control checks and tests to verify that equipment is functioning as expected.Report any defects or potential problems to the supervisor or manager.Collaboration:Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to discuss installation and fitting requirements.Assist in the design and modification of equipment when necessary.Collaborate with the team to suggest improvements and modifications to assembly processes.Documentation:Keep detailed records of assembly procedures, parts used, and work completed.Maintain logs of maintenance and repair activities.Health and Safety:Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards while fitting, assembling, and maintaining machinery.Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications and Experience RequiredLevel 6 (or equivalent) 3-4 years  Welder (Starting salary €32,000)Specialising in joining metal parts together using various welding techniques.
Working with materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals to fabricate, repair, or modify parts. Key Responsibilities Welding Operations:Perform welding tasks using different welding methods such as MIG, TIG, stick, and oxyacetylene.Weld metal parts according to blueprints, technical drawings, or specifications.Cut and shape materials using welding tools, torches, or other equipment.Material Handling:Inspect and prepare metal parts before welding, ensuring they are clean and free from contaminants.Measure and fit components before welding to ensure accuracy.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following safe welding practices.Maintain a clean and safe work environment to prevent accidents or injuries.Ensure all work complies with industry codes and standards.Quality Control:Inspect welded parts to ensure they meet quality standards, including strength, appearance, and functionality.Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.Test welded joints using visual inspections, ultrasonic tests, or other methods to ensure integrity.Collaboration and Reporting:Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other tradespeople to complete projects.Report progress, issues, or delays to supervisors or project managers. Key Skills  Technical Skills:Proficiency in various welding techniques, knowledge of blueprints and technical drawings.Physical Stamina:Ability to work in physically demanding environments, sometimes in confined spaces or at heights.Attention to Detail:Precision in welding to ensure quality and structural integrity.Problem-Solving:Ability to troubleshoot issues related to welding and materials. Qualifications and Experience RequiredPrior experience as a welder or completion of a formal welding training program or apprenticeship.Certifications such as Certified Welder (CW) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred.
