Job Description Reporting to the Production Manager this Supervisor/Team Lead will encompass the following duties:
* Daily leadership and guidance of production team/s.
* Driving and maintaining overall Site to be equitable to Company standards and expectations in line with the facility to be applied for company employees and Contractors
* Achieve production schedule timeframes & ensure customer deadlines are met.
* Organise manpower, materials, planning resources to achieve targets.
* Coordination of external subcontractors, scope of works for production staff and preparing product for dispatch and logistics.
* Provide and deliver Toolbox Talks and H&S guidance.
* Maintain and develop a positive culture within the workplace while promoting self-confidence and encouragement within a team environment.
* Assist with first-line management duties in line with company procedures.
* Proficient in setting out and tracking work in coordination with the engineering team.
* 3 years' minimum Supervisory/Team Leader experience working within an industrial or commercial engineering contracting sector.
* Demonstrate capabilities leading small to medium-sized teams.
* Mechanical Qualification, recognised apprenticeship, HNC/HND Engineering qualification.
The Successful Applicant A successful 'Mechanical Supervisor/Team Leader' should have:
An educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical engineering.Previous experience in a supervisory role within Industrial/Commercial Contracting/Engineering.Strong technical skills related to processes and machinery, fabrication and Installation.Excellent leadership and team management abilities.Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Good communication and problem-solving skills.
