Microbiologist

Microbiologist Our client, a world class monitoring and testing organisation, are currently recruiting for a Microbiologist to join their growing and expanding business.
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience working in micro lab.
Experience working in an ISO 17025 or ISO 15189 is a distinct advantage.
This role is based in Louth and you must be available to work on site, 5 days per week.
Responsibilities Work with a range of food and water samples Work with a range of micro biota Adhere to all health and safety requirements Ensure all analysis is carried out as per the SOP and to the requirements of ISO 17025 Update SOPs and GOPs as required Work to daily schedules and planning work each day Ensure data is collected and recorded to data systems appropriately Assist with improvement projects and new method development Ensure work is completed to the required quality and standards Requirements Bachelors degree with 3-5 years experience in a microbiological environment Experience working in an ISO 17025 or ISO 15189 environment an advantage Fluent spoken and written English Good organisational and time management skills Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative Strong leadership skills Good written and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills and act with integrity Good PC skills Fluent spoken and written English For more information, please contact Sinéad Cullen on or Skills: Microbiologist Environmental Monitoring QC Micro Analyst
