Night Porter

Job DescriptionWe are currently inviting applications for a Night Porter position to join the Front Office team at Sheen Falls Lodge.Scope & General Purpose of JobTo care for the guests and property of Sheen Falls Lodge throughout the night.Reporting to: Front Office Manager Responsibilities:Service of food and beverage items as requestedOversee Reception office – answering phones and queriesCleaning front of house areas; regularly checking that the premises are safe and secureManaging any difficult incidents that may occur with the assistance of the Duty Manager, when necessary.Be responsible for and aware of fire safety, the evacuation system, and safe handling of fire, in case of emergency while on duty.Use initiative whilst carrying out duties so that we provide the best possibleResponsible for the security of the hotel at all times, both in terms of access to the hotel and hotel property while on duty.QualificationsMinumun 2+ years experience in a similar position.
Requirements:Previous experience in a similar role in a busy 4*/5* star Hotel environment.Previous experience in hospitality.Must possess excellent guest service skills.Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Must have a full driver's license.Must have fluent English both oral and written and full legal status to work in Ireland.All applicants must have permission to work in Ireland.Additional InformationThe placeSheen Falls Lodge is a member of Relais & Chateaux and since opening in 1991 has received many prestigious Awards and Accolades.
