Night Receptionist/ Security

A vacancy has arisen within the Galway Clinic for the position of Night Receptionist/ Security. This is a permanent part time role, 18.5 hrs pw, which would involve cover for Evenings, Weekends, Bank Holidays and Annual Leave Cover. The Role: Operating on a rotational basis from 8pm to 8am. To assist with reception administration duties. To ensure a high standard of security to patients, staff, clients and visitors. To complete three security rounds per night. To input all relevant information into the security Logbook and leave it in the postal room for Head of Security. To be efficient in the operation of the telephone system. To contact on call staff on instruction of the nursing administration manager when necessary. To notify the Garda or emergency services when there is an emergency To ensure the highest level of Health & Safety standards are maintained and to report any unusual or untoward incidents/accidents in order to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and colleagues. To retain a security vigilance and report any unusual occurrence The Candidate: Previous experience in a similar role - Desirable Excellent communication skills, ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Flexibility in work practices Own transport preferable (as successful candidate will be working shifts where limited public transport schedules available for Galway Clinic) Closing date for receipt of applications Tuesday 27th August Blackrock Health Galway Clinic is an equal opportunities employer.
