Purpose of the Role The role of the Nurse Tutor is to develop, plan, coordinate and evaluate education programmes provided by the Centre of Children's Nurse Education.
The Nurse Tutor will liaise with their other colleagues across the three sites, in order to provide education and training to all Children's nurses within the remit of the centre, and to provide Children's nursing related specialist programmes as required nationally.
Essential Criteria: RCN/RN Child branch with 5 years Post Graduate experience or RGN with 5 years acute paediatric experience. Master's Degree in Education or a subject relevant to the post, or a guarantee to pursue same. Experience and knowledge in caring for Children with Life Limiting Conditions.
