Occupational Therapist (Children with Disabilities) Are you an occupational therapist keen to make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their families. I am keen to speak with Occupational therapists who want to be involved in meaningful work that makes a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community. Position Overview: As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing therapy programs to enhance the lives of children with disabilities, offering opportunities for career progression and professional development. Successful candidates will collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver holistic care tailored to the individual needs of each child. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification. Registration with CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council) Desirable Previous experience working with children with disabilities would be beneficial. Specialized training or certification in paediatric occupational therapy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Compassion, empathy, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of children with disabilities.
