Our client is based in Citywest Business Park, Tallaght, Dublin 24 and they are currently recruiting for a qualified Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic team dedicated to excellence and innovation.
Salary is circa €55k pa plus bonus, pension & healthcare. Flexi hours and WFH 3 days per week with 2 days in office.
As a Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for managing payroll processes for 100+ employees. This is a stand-alone role where you will work independently, but also closely with our external payroll provider. Utilising Sage and VIP payroll systems, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining meticulous records, and preparing various reports.
DUTIES OF THE ROLE: Process payroll for 100+ employees accurately and on time using Sage and VIP payroll systems. Maintain detailed records of employee earnings, benefits, taxes, and deductions. Collaborate with external payroll provider to ensure compliance with legal and company policies. Prepare and submit tax reports, including PAYE, PRSI, USC and other relevant deductions. Handle involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments. Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries for payroll transactions. Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally. Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE : Irish Payroll Association Qualification is preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll processing. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience working with Sage and VIP payroll systems. Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
