Practice Accountant

BenchMark is currently seeking a qualified or recently qualified accountant for a reputable practice in Kilkenny.

You will have the chance to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the practice, while also growing your own professional capabilities.
The Role: Preparation and review of financial accounts and tax computations for sole traders, companies, and partnerships.
Management of a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with Irish accounting standards and regulations.
Assisting with statutory audits and financial statement preparation in accordance with FRS 102 and IFRS.
Providing support and advice on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Conducting tax planning and compliance work for individuals and corporate clients.
Liaising with Revenue Commissioners and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
Participating in business development activities to attract and retain clients.
Requirements Recently qualified accountant with a ACCA / ACA / CPA qualification with experience working in a public practice environment.
Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills.
A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of Irish tax laws and accounting standards.


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
