Job Title: Process Operators - Dairy Seasonal Fixed Term Contract Location: Aurivo Dairy Ingredients, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon Aurivo is a large multi-purpose co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, garden centres, livestock marketing as well as sports nutrition It employs over 650 people directly and provides jobs for many others in transport, distribution and services.
Reports to: Process Manager Job Overview: Reporting to the Process Manager of the Aurivo Dairy Ingredients Plant, the successful candidate will work as part of a close-knit team to ensure effective operation of machinery & equipment within the food processing plant to ensure consistent quality & production output.
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Work as part of the Production Team on the shift cycle to operate and monitor the manufacturing equipment to ensure consistent quality and production efficiencies Operate the manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and ensure the equipment is maintained and operating correctly Maintain a high standard of hygiene/housekeeping and adhere to health and safety procedures Carry out machine adjustments as appropriate to the product specification and production continuity Assist with training as required and participate in continuous improvement projects with production personnel Available to work the four week-shift cycle including weekends Ability to drive a fork truck ideally Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in a food processing, dairy, or manufacturing environment preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work proactively and with flexibility in a team environment and in a fast paced environment Problem solving and analytical skills Strong attention to detail Full driver licence preferred but not essential Application: Aurivo reserve the right to shortlist candidates.
