About the role: Reporting to the Procurement Manager and as an integral part of the Procurement team you will be responsible for ensuring all Procurement and sourcing activities are executed seamlessly to a high standard.
You will work with internal and external stakeholders and develop cross functional skills for Procurement on projects such as Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Data Centres, Semi-Conductor, Commercial, etc across Ireland and the UK.
Responsibilities: To work effectively within a dynamic procurement environment.Purchase order generation with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiation of material rates.Complete invoice queries for accounts dept and resolve with finance team.Follow up on order confirmations/pro forma payments, with finance team.Expediting supply chain management from source to delivery ensuring timely deliveries and identifying and resolving issues to both supply chain partners and site team.Preparing and executing negotiation events, RFQs, RFIs - seeking best TCO contracts with suppliers, assisting with ongoing tender administrationVendor onboarding within Ireland and the UK - issue and collate relevant paperwork, use internal & external systems to add new suppliers & subcontractors to our database, and maintain with latest informationArrange international transport and manage associated customs interface.GRN stock onto software system.Planning and forecasting of material, Liaising with project managers to set & maintain budgets and timeframe.Inventory management, utilising stock holding in various workshops and turnover of sameWorking closely with various departments within the company, attending weekly meetings and contributing to such.Maintaining files and records and update of same.Generating reports for commercial Team, project managers, and finance, demonstrating cross-departmental communication.Candidate requirements: 5 years + Experience in a similar role within the construction Industry.Knowledge of mechanical material streams and plant.Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering industry and material /components etc.Ability to work under pressure, Prioritise and Multitask and deliver the procurement elements of multiple projects simultaneously.Freight Imports and Exports/Customs.Ability to work on own Initiative and as part of a team.Analytical Mind.Procurement experience within the Electrical Engineering industryIT Experience: Coins Software or similar ERP system ExcelWordOutlookApply for this position First Name
