We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to help design the future of automation at Tines. You will collaborate closely with our Design, Product and Engineering teams to identify opportunities to continuously improve our product and delight our customers.
As a member of the product team, you will have unparalleled influence on the product and company culture.
About you You love design and care deeply about the quality of your work. You're never satisfied with the status-quo.You are experienced in creating useable and beautiful user interfaces with a portfolio that demonstrates your skillset.You can communicate your ideas using low fidelity sketching, high fidelity prototypes or documentation where appropriate.You are happy talking to customers, to research and validate your solution.You are self motivated and comfortable taking initiative. You can be trusted that you'll do what you say you will and deliver on time.You are comfortable owning an initiative from conception to release.You set high standards for yourself and those around you.You continuously look for ways to improve the experience for our customers.You have great communication skills.What you bring with you A track record in product design success delivering captivating and compelling customer experiences across the whole product experience.Very strong understanding of visual hierarchy, layout and information architecture.A high level of curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement and iteration.Ability to identify areas for systemic improvement.Comfortable working at pace and being able to pivot direction based on fresh company strategies and initiatives.A portfolio of design work that demonstrates how you solve customer problems and can deliver creative product ideas and solutions to these challenges.Comfortable creating detailed prototypes to communicate ideas.Well honed presentation and story-telling skills to get alignment from key stakeholders within the business.Things we ask of our product designers: Ask plenty of questions Software is complicated, and is often the result of conversations or decisions that were right at a particular time. Always bring your ideas, openly and safely.
Be self initiated We empower our team to be self directed. You will not always have a list of things to do next. You should be proactive in determining where you can add value and will be trusted with substantial autonomy.
Foster collaboration Our engineers are extremely product focused, involve them early during the design process and work closely to ship great product. Negotiate the best solution with your engineering counterparts.
Solicit feedback Share your work early and often. Seek out feedback from stakeholders, customers and the wider product team. Present your work in updates and critiques. Filter and prioritise feedback for successful outcomes.
