OBJECTIVE ZF's Aftermarket Digital Services enable aftermarket customers across application segments (cargo transport, people transport, industrial applications) to radically improve the efficiency, sustainability, and safety of their operations, while meeting the regulatory and visibility standards of their markets. The solutions are based on a mix of connectivity units installed in the vehicles, communicating with a modern cloud-based IoT, data management, and end-user software platform.
As Product Manager Commercial Vehicle Multi-Brands diagnostics, you will own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and success criteria for the ZF CV multibrand diagnostics in support of CV ZF parts, systems & services business. You will closely work with the development team to ensure the deliverables of the product based on specs and customer needs, achieving QCD targets. You will drive the partnership with the engineering team regarding priorities, activities, and resource allocation. You will also support the acquisition of deals (RFQ/RFI) together with category management or sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES Represent the product backlog, and act as the interface between the development team and the stakeholders, translating stakeholder requirements into product specifications.Maintain a deep understanding of the domain and the product. Contribute to and lead documentation efforts for the team. Collect and organize feedback into actionable insights for continuous improvements.Own the quality and the P&L of the scope of the team, and plan related activities, functional or non-functional, together with the engineering management partners. Validate the outcome of the development iterations.Provide customer and business context to the development team, acting as the voice of customer/business in the project team.Coordinate the product validation and prototype activities in cooperation with suppliers, testing centers, and field tests.Provide onsite support of the product during the product launch.PROFILE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Technical background.Min. 5 years of experience as product owner in agile software product development organizations, ideally in the automotive industry.In-depth understanding of E/E vehicle architecture and related vehicle diagnostics standards and requirements.Passionate about end-user software technology, with an understanding of cloud hosting technologies, databases, and services development.Ability to go deep with engineering when required but understand that your real value is your business acumen, strategic thinking, and precisely informed perspectives; you never lose sight of what your customers need.Excellent problem-solving skills.Thrive in a culture that expects ownership, autonomy, and accountability.Be part of our ZF team as Product Manager Commercial Vehicle Diagnostics and apply now!
