Programme Executive

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Programme Executive to join a fantastic team on a 12 month contract with one of our Public Sector Clients.
This exciting role will support an important programme which helps businesses implement energy-efficient and decarbonisation strategies.
The Programme offers grants and expert support to businesses.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will work closely with the Programme Manager to provide project management and technical support.
This includes: Managing project applications, evaluations, grant offers, and payments.
Supporting broader elements of the programme, such as improving customer experience, audit methodologies, and developing case studies.
Essential Requirements: A degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Science, Business, or Social Science).
At least three years' experience in energy or business-related roles.
Strong project management, organisational skills, and experience with business process development.
Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in IT, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel or similar tools.
Desirable Skills: Experience in sustainable energy or working with SMEs and industry.
A commercial understanding of the challenges faced by Irish businesses.
Experience in delivering training or educational support.
Knowledge of building energy retrofitting, business sustainability, or industry energy efficiency.
Familiarity with high-volume grant programmes or client-facing services.
Experience with energy, environmental, or quality management systems.
Work Location: Hybrid - WFH + onsite Dublin, Dundalk, Sligo, or Cork.
