Engineering (Continuous Improvement / Lean / Projects)Our client, an exciting medical device start-up, is hiring a Project Manager.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited to the Following: Develop project plans, including key milestones and resource allocation.Utilize project management tools such as Gantt charts, Risk Registers, and Progress Charts to track project progress.Coordinate with functional managers to align timelines and milestones with functional KPIs.Manage all project stages in compliance with internal procedures.Ensure daily and weekly objectives and tasks are met.Collaborate with team members to resolve project issues, considering all stakeholder input.Present regular project status updates to the project team and management.Identify the critical path of the project and monitor the status of key work packages.Contribute to the development of project management techniques and tools.Evaluate areas of the project for alternative paths to improve timelines and mitigate risks.Communicate project priorities and status effectively.Coordinate internal and external resources to align with project timelines and scope.Establish and maintain relationships with all project team members.Identify and report resource constraints to leadership.Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks.Develop and manage backup strategies for high-risk scenarios.Job RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.At least 2 years of experience in a product development role such as PMO, DA, or R&D.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent planning and organizational abilities.Proficiency in Gantt software (e.g., MS Project, Team Gantt).Currently holding or actively pursuing a project management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP) (preferred).Experience in developing electromechanical medical devices (preferred).Experience with validation of products, test methods, or processes for new product development or technical transfer (preferred).Familiarity with standards such as ISO62304, ISO60601, ISO13485, and ISO14971 (preferred).Note: By applying for this position, you may also be considered by Pale Blue Dot Recruitment for other or future related vacancies.
