Project Quantity Surveyor

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of the project designated to you, ensuring they are properly managed and controlled, and that the commercial strategy is developed and delivered in accordance with the requirements of the business.
The Project Quantity Surveyor will work under the guidance of a Contracts Manager/Managing QS.
Your Main DutiesCarry out all Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, procurement, cost monitoring, cost control, cost reporting, preparation of interim payments, and settlement of final accounts in a professional manner.Maintain Project Variation Folders to include all Variations.Preparation of Internal Subcontractor Payment Certificates.Liaising and co-ordination with Kilcawley Project Team where necessary.Review and monitoring of Project Commercial Plans.Degree Educated in Quantity Surveying with some post-graduate experience.Strong knowledge on Technical Construction Details.Must be very organised and have excellent time management skills.Must have excellent verbal, written, communication, presentation, and IT skills.Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.Proficient across the full MS Office suite.Strong knowledge of Cubit, Buildsoft software (would be an advantage).Strong attention to detail.Strong team player with the ability to work independently as needs arise.What's In It For You?Competitive Salary – Paid on a weekly basis.Company Laptop.Company Phone.Opportunities for Progression.Flexibility between office locations in Sligo and Maynooth when not on site.Professional Development Support and Mentoring for persons looking for professional qualifications with recognised bodies.Continuous Professional Development Training (CPD).Peace of Mind with Life Insurance Protection (Death in Service Benefit).Access to Lifestyle Benefits - Bike to Work Scheme, Gym Membership.Employee Assistance Programme.Loyalty Reward Scheme (Earn Additional Leave for Service Served).Referral Reward Scheme.Social Club.Kilcawley Construction is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
