Location: Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model.
Grade: Officer Contract type: Permanent Working with senior stakeholders, this is an excellent opportunity to support the growth of our firm.
Project managing our largest and most strategic pursuits, you'll be working with Lead Partners and pursuit teams - applying best practise that increases win probability.A snapshot of your peer group: Qualified to degree level or equivalent3+ years' experience in competitive bidding in a sales and marketing environment - providing specialist business development/bid supportExperience of working in a large and complex professional services or corporate environment essentialA genuine passion, energy and enthusiasm for bids and tendersAbility to work under pressure with challenging deadlines and multiple stakeholdersA good understanding of the sales cycle and the ability to leverage relevant prior learning experience, eg pulling together winning proposalsEmotional intelligence and the ability to adapt personal style and approach to successfully influence and motivate individualsExcellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex content into clear, compelling language - you will be asked to point to written examples at interviewExcellent organisational and project management skills, with a great eye for detailProficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and excelYour responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us.
Here is what you can initially expect: Work with Pursuits Manager to project manager on strategic pursuits, while supporting the Lead Partner and managing the process from Qualification to Win/Loss, and debriefProvide advice, constructive challenge and coaching to the Lead Partner and pursuit team across the entire bid process in line with our established best practise approach.
Typical inputs:Advise and challenge regarding client contact plan and the value proposition: specifically ensuring client proposition and the key messages are clear and incorporated into all touch pointsCreative content for proposals - generating creative ideas, ensuring quality, writing strategic elements of proposals ( executive summaries) to positively differentiate KPMGEnsure best practise pitch preparation sessions and advise on the use of appropriate visual aidsFacilitate presentation dry runs and provide coaching of bid team for impact and authenticityEnsure pursuit collateral adheres to the Firm's risk and brand policies Work with the functions on smaller pursuits, providing strategic and tactical advice, ad hoc training to supplement the formal training and help improve the bidding capability of the service linesDevelop and drive the use of pursuit best practice and resources, ensuring online supporting materials are relevant and effective and up to dateManaging pursuit inbox and ensuring all inbound opportunities are circulated to relevant stakeholdersYour team: You will be joining a team of Sales Enablement professionals, who sit within a thriving Marketing & Communications team of 45.
