Aurivo Co-op is a large multi-purpose co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, e-commerce, garden centres, livestock marketing and sports nutrition. The role will be based in the on-site Feed and Forage Lab assisting the Quality Assurance Specialist in ensuring compliance with approval bodies and that the highest feed quality standards are achieved in accordance with relevant standards and requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Collection, labelling and appropriate storage of feed samplesConduct analysis on a range of samples including raw materials and finished productsUndertake forage analysisRecording and reporting of results in a timely mannerExtraction and reporting of dataPerform other duties as requiredThe ideal candidate will have: A recognised or progressing towards an Agricultural Sciences qualification or related disciplineAbility to confidently compile reportsGood PC skills, spreadsheet and database maintenance skillsStrong organisational, time management and planning skillsGood communication skills and ability to communicate cross-functionally and with all levels of the businessAbility to work on own initiativeGood attention to detailApplication Process The company reserves the right to select a shortlist from the applications received.
