Catalyx is seeking a Quality Manager to join our team and work on our customer site in Galway on an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. To learn more about the company's experience and comprehensive suite of capabilities and solutions, visit The Role : The role involves close collaboration with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer contacts to address all quality-related matters. This position requires regular monitoring of quality compliance, continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring audit readiness through daily manufacturing area inspections. The role also includes identifying and addressing quality/compliance issues and reporting weekly quality performance KPIs internally and to customers. Responsibilities: Manage and guide the quality function team to support all product lines. Act as the primary quality contact between Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customers. Address and resolve all quality-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality. Conduct regular quality assessments and implement corrective actions as needed. Perform daily line walks of manufacturing areas to ensure audit readiness. Identify and raise any quality/compliance issues and follow up on their resolution. Prepare and present weekly KPI reports on quality performance to internal stakeholders and customers. Communicate quality performance, issues, and improvements effectively across all levels of the organization. Develop and implement quality processes and procedures in compliance with GMP, FDA, and other applicable regulations. Train and mentor quality control staff. Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related field. At least 8 years of experience in GMP, New Product Introduction, FDA, Validation and Quality Management Systems. Proven experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality standards, regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and accuracy.
