The Job: Full time (39 Hrs), Monday to Friday
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMFriday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PMPosition Overview: The Quality Technician plays a critical role in ensuring adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) through inspections. This role will support our Gort facility and collaborate with a global team across various Natus sites.
Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct inspections and testing of incoming raw materials and components as required.Perform in-process and final inspections, including Device History Record (DHR) closure and product release.Train operators on general inspection criteria, establish training samples, and create standards for inspection.Provide quality support regarding products, processes, and systems.Implement the quality system to the highest standards.Promote Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure compliance with quality system requirements.Support Customer Complaints, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and non-conforming product/process issues.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for systems and practices.Participate in process development and transfer projects.Support weekly and monthly quality meetings.Oversee the inspection system, including the revision of controlled inspection sheets, programs, gauges, and fixturing, with an emphasis on quality assurance and lean manufacturing.Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of two years of related work experience or a combination of education and experience.Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and initiative.Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Physical requirements: Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 4.5 kg, frequently lift and/or move up to 11 kg, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 23 kg.Experience in applying product inspection techniques and strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills is an advantage.Familiarity with the medical device industry and understanding of regulatory compliance (FDA 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485) is desirable.Benefits: A competitive salary package.Comprehensive Healthcare & Life Assurance coverage.Additional benefits such as income protection and death in service benefit.Health & Wellbeing Events.Recognition Scheme.Free Parking.Educational assistance.EEO Statement: Natus Medical is an equal opportunity employer.
