Longford, Ireland. SLB Ireland is the engineering centre of excellence for flow control products, we have an energetic R&D Team focused on developing Energy Harvesting and other technology for the Energy Industry.
Job Summary:
SLB, in Longford Town, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to work with a team of R&D engineers to assist in developing Energy Harvesting and other technology for the Energy Industry.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Designing R&D projects from inception to completionDeveloping leading edge technology for Energy Harvesting, and the Energy IndustryAnalyse, design, develop, maintain products, and assist in their commercializationBuild prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing. Set up and run lab simulationsDesign and implement tests, document results, and develop customer presentationsProvide timely corrective actions on defectsProduce analyses and mathematical models and draw design conclusions based on thoseConduct or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications and designs, code, and other artifactsCompetencies: Studying towards a Bachelor or Master in Mechanical or System Engineering or in a related field.Team player who knows how to work in a team environment.Interest in product design and development.Technical and problem-solving skills.Hands-on approach.Qualification:
