Securitas Security Services Ireland are currently recruiting a full-time Regional Command Centre Security Officer for our client based in Swords.
Rate of pay is €20.01 per hour, plus night allowance of €16.80 and Sunday allowance of €3.44.
The successful candidate must be fully flexible due this is a relief role.
You must be available to work days, nights and weekends.

Expectations of this position: Must have Security Enterprise systems such as LENEL, C-Cure, Milestones, Genetic or similar experience Must be available to work a rotating roster days nights and weekends Fully and satisfactorily complete all of the training that has been agreed is necessary for the particular site.
Fully and satisfactorily complete all of the tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
Proactively refer to and review the published Assignment Instructions, thus familiarizing oneself with any changes and in order to suggest changes that can proactively improve or enhance the level of service.
Look out for, and to immediately report, any Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site.
Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment in order to take the appropriate action in order to reduce the chance of disruption, loss or damage.
Use common sense and initiative by immediately involving others if a situation appears to become threatening. Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry as soon as possible after any incident, which can then be used as part of the Incident Report process.
Wear the uniform provided correctly at all times, ensuring all items is clean and pressed. To maintain an excellent level of personal grooming and hygiene at all times. Maintain a helpful, interested and courteous approach to team members, customer's staff and the general public, as applicable in order to uphold a highly professional image.
With a focus on customer service, serve as the initial point of contact for employees, contingent workers, and visitors for all security related topics Prepare, and review Daily Activity Reports (DAR).
Identify, analyze and report all incidents that could potentially have a negative impact to Client assets.
Create incident reports and escalate to management.
Monitor physical security systems, to include access control & alarm monitoring, video surveillance.
Dispatch and coordinate response to security incidents that occur on client premises or events, using the appropriate communication methodology, including but not limited to, radio, telephone, email, SMS, and mass notification tools Provide continuous monitoring of the clients facilities 24/7, and respond accordingly to incidents Receive, evaluate and disseminate incoming information and reports from security personnel.
Escalate critical events to site management.
Verbal and written communication must be clear, concise, timely, accurate and customer focused.
Monitor and protect all of the client assets Security Officer Specification: Fluent English essential Excellent written and attention to detail skills are essential Excellent Computer skills Previous experience desirable Must have excellent customer service and communication skills Be flexible with your working hours.
