Reservations Agent

Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting for a  Reservations Agent  to join the Team.  The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel.
It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D. Main duties and responsibilities: To answer reservation calls in a timely and courteous manner and to respond to email enquiries To record reservation information accurately; to identify and record group and transient business segmentation codes To inform other departments of VIP arrivals and special requirements To record and process deposit information To use up-selling techniques and promote hotel facilities To make bookings for F&B outlets during the reservation process To complete the no show report form the evening before ensuring the revenue is recorded on the daily no show report and the charges correctly charged to credit cards To ensure that the rooming lists and booking details are accurate prior to guests arrival Requirements: Fluent English and excellent communication and written skills Previous experience working with a reservations system is desirable Previous experience as hotel receptionist or reservations agent is essential Employee Benefits: Meals on duty Refer a Friend Program Employee Assistance Program Team Member Accommodation & F&B discounts in Windward Management properties Enhanced Maternity Benefit Complimentary parking References: All employment offers made are subject to a valid work permit and us receiving a satisfactory reference About Windward Management Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is managed by Windward Management.
