Our core purpose is to offer every child/young person in our care safety and stability in a warm and caring home environment.
Key Responsibilities: · Adhere to a meal plan when preparing breakfast, lunches, dinners and suppers; allowing young people the opportunity to cook alongside you.
· Report any maintenance issues to line management in a timely manner · Maintain general tidiness of the home (domestic cleaning) and resolve laundry requirements · Complete errands in a timely and professional manner · Create a friendly, welcoming and happy environment for our young people and visitors · Inform line managers of any matters of concern in relation to the welfare of the children and young people including any concerns regarding the behaviour or practice of other staff · Maintain confidentiality in respect of staff, children and young people always.
