Job Description The Risk Support will be responsible for supporting the Risk Lead in developing a risk reporting framework to comprehensively report on risks including the following: operational risks, strategic risks and retained risks.
The role holder shall provide leadership in risk and opportunity management throughout the delivery of the project, assisting the Risk Lead in ensuring that the risk and opportunity management processes are in place and being complied with across the project, including by the Project Delivery Partner and the appointed contractor(s).
The Risk Support will also assist in ensuring that there is a focus on the provision of timely and high-quality information, guidance and specialist advice on risk management across the project.
The role holder will also ensure processes are continuously improved to ensure that they are practical, embedded and connected to all key stakeholders.
Additional requirements: 5+ years' experience in risk management and a proven track record of conducting risk management and mitigation activities in high value metro rail projects or projects of a similar scale / complexity.
Tangible experience of designing and implementing risk management frameworks within a PMO function Proven track record of overseeing risk and opportunity management in major projects environments to enable achievement of project goals and objectives Knowledge of risk management principles, methods, techniques, systems and toolkits In-depth understanding of the design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural / engineering / construction sectors Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector The Risk Support will be required to possess the following skills: Good influencing skills to manage and motivate teams in support of delivery of high risk, value and complex project and programme Ability to coordinate and organize multiple sources of reporting inputs / performance data and deliver project/ programme reports as required An ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service Qualifications BEng, BA, BSc in a related discipline Additional Information What we offer you: Full time Competitive remuneration and attractive range of benefits 8% Pension 25 days Annual leave (23 days + 2 company days) Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projects Career development opportunities both in Ireland and globally Opportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleagues Additional Information Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
