As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionThe Risk Support will be responsible for supporting the Risk Lead in developing a risk reporting framework to comprehensively report on risks including the following: operational risks, strategic risks and retained risks.
The role holder shall provide leadership in risk and opportunity management throughout the delivery of the project, assisting the Risk Lead in ensuring that the risk and opportunity management processes are in place and being complied with across the project, including by the Project Delivery Partner and the appointed contractor(s).The Risk Support will also assist in ensuring that there is a focus on the provision of timely and high-quality information, guidance and specialist advice on risk management across the project.
The role holder will also ensure processes are continuously improved to ensure that they are practical, embedded and connected to all key stakeholders.Additional requirements:5+ years' experience in risk management and a proven track record of conducting risk management and mitigation activities in high value metro rail projects or projects of a similar scale / complexity.Tangible experience of designing and implementing risk management frameworks within a PMO functionProven track record of overseeing risk and opportunity management in major projects environments to enable achievement of project goals and objectivesKnowledge of risk management principles, methods, techniques, systems and toolkitsIn-depth understanding of the design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural / engineering / construction sectorsExperience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reportingKnowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sectorThe Risk Support will be required to possess the following skills:Good influencing skills to manage and motivate teams in support of delivery of high risk, value and complex project and programmeAbility to coordinate and organize multiple sources of reporting inputs / performance data and deliver project/ programme reports as requiredAn ability to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsAbility to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality serviceQualificationsBEng, BA, BSc in a related disciplineAdditional InformationWhat we offer you:Full timeCompetitive remuneration and attractive range of benefits8% Pension25 days Annual leave (23 days + 2 company days)Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projectsCareer development opportunities both in Ireland and globallyOpportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleaguesAdditional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
