"Consumers made more than 1.4 billion contactless payments to the value of €24.8 billion in shops, restaurants and other retail outlets in the 12 months to the end of June 2024" With more and more businesses moving away from traditional payment methods and cash there has never been as much of a need for leading payment providers in Ireland.
Something that stands out with the business I am currently working with is the way they have taken the Irish market by storm.
With the business having expanded into the Irish market in H2 last year they have surpassed every target the business has set in front of them.
They have a payments provider that focuses on supporting small businesses in the Dublin area with their key successes being with taxi drivers and founder-run businesses.
Due to the success is looking to increase its presence in other spaces such as restaurants, bars and salons You will come in to support the Country Manager directly managing a team of three reps who spend their time split between the office and in the field.
This team is full of raw potential talent and needs someone with strong leadership experience to harness that talent.
The scope for growth in the role is exceptional too with this person essentially coming in to work under the current Country Manager with the view of succeeding them as they progress within the business.
Role – Sales Manager Salary – €55-65k base + 30% OTE & car allowance Benefits – Industry-leading non-contributory pension, healthcare, dental, life and income protection insurance and 28 days of annual leave.
Location – Dublin with a mix of field and office-based work What do you need?
You will have proven management experience with a background in the payments space being highly desirable.
As this is a new team, you will be responsible for building, implementing and improving processes.
Experience in transactional B2B sales and field-based sales is something that would be very advantageous too!
