School Cleaner

Neylons Facility Management is currently recruiting an experienced Part-time cleaner to work in a school environment in Bray, Co. Wicklow.
This position has an immediate start date after Garda clearance.
Please only apply if you live in or around the Bray area The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 15:00-18:00 Overall Purpose of the Role: Ensuring customer satisfaction through providing quality service as laid down in the  cleaning specifications  and guarded by the operations manager.
To ensure that your standard of cleaning is to the highest standard.
This is an overall cleaning role, and you will be responsible for completing general cleaning on-site as instructed by the site supervisor or line manager.
Health & Safety Purpose: Take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your work activities.
Training will be provided on-site on Covid-19 awareness and safe practices.
Job description: Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells, toilets, etc.
Vacuuming, dusting, and washing floors and walls Sweeping, floor polishing, and waste disposal Wash windows, walls and ceilings Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required Organised necessary supplies for cleaning toilet facilities Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators General housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes Undertake any other duties as requested The successful candidate must present: Good English level Understanding of safe working practices and health & safety legislation Ability to work on his/her own or supervised Problem-solving ability Team player skills Good attention to detail Must be well-organized, punctual, and capable of prioritizing own work Qualifications and Experience Previous experience in a similar role working as a contract cleaner (Reference on CV required) Experience in the use of cleaning equipment Manual Handing certification is desirable Garda vetting required You must be legally permitted to work in Ireland.
