Senior Accountant | Hybrid

We have an attractive opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join one of the leading multinational manufacturers in Cork. As a business partner to the site, this is a varied role with significant exposure to senior management. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for key areas of the annual standards-setting process and play a lead role in the planning & analysis activities ensuring stakeholders have timely and relevant information to effectively plan and control the business. No direct reports but you will mentor a team of analysts. Opportunity to rotate responsibilities within the team to gain more exposure to the business. Permanent role with hybrid working options. Overview of responsibilities: Annual standard costing process for the siteAccurate material pricing, calculation of the scrap/yield budget, variance analysis and review of the impact of cost movementsParticipation in and coordination of the management accounting month-end close processResponsible for ensuring inventory is valued correctlyNew product introduction, establish full product costing for new productsCoordination of scorecards and flash reports on a weekly & monthly basisIdentify and deliver ongoing improvements to finance processesSOX complianceWhat the ideal candidate looks like: Fully ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Qualified with 5+ years PQEManufacturing and FP&A experienceExperience in influencing at senior management levels across a cross-functional and global organisationERP system knowledge (ideally SAP)What you will get in return: Hybrid working optionsCompetitive salaryBonusHealth insurancePension contributionCareer progressionOnsite gym and canteen
