The Position This role will be key in managing financial operations and reporting for Novo Nordisk Ireland.
Responsibilities will include: Financial management associated with government grants & capital allowances Prepare and submit the annual R&D Tax Credits claim Taxation relation activities including maintain the tax ledger on SAP, preparing the corporation tax return & VAT returns and managing all transfer pricing obligations Financial reporting ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards and assisting with FP&A tasks including financial planning Ensuring financial management of government incentives, compliance with tax regulations and the accurate reporting of financial information This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week.
Qualifications To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: Degree in accounting, finance or related field Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working in or being seconded to a regulated manufacturing environment is considered a plus.
Experience of working with SAP is highly desirable You should also have Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both external and internal stakeholders at all levels About the Department: You will join the local Finance team at our newly acquired site in Athlone, working alongside four talented professionals and reporting directly to the Director of Finance.
This team is dedicated to conducting the financial and accounting operations for Novo Nordisk's Irish entity.
We prepare budgets, reports, forecasts, statutory returns, and manage Irish taxation affairs.
