Your key responsibilities You will be a fundamental part of a multi-disciplinary team working closely with our clients alongside partners and directors. Delivering efficient and effective professional services. You will be a part of a team responsible for the day to day running of projects. You will work and liaise with other EY offices and services lines. You will have exposure to a variety of client needs including technical and operational complexities. Interacting with business leaders. Gain understanding of client/business issues, e.g.
by using the firm's knowledge resources. Preparing accurate documentation for review and completing work allocated to you within agreed budget and deadlines. To qualify for the role, you must have Experience of working within a financial services department in a professional services firm or have an appropriate technical background working within the Wealth and Asset Management industry, with a significant portion dedicated to fund accounting or financial reporting for Private Equity Funds. In-depth knowledge of the financial structures, strategies, and regulatory requirements specific to Private Equity Funds. Strong experience with capital account maintenance, including calls and distributions, carried interest calculations, and management fee analysis. Detailed knowledge of the relevant accounting standards impacting the sector. Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks (US GAAP, UK GAAP or IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with fund managers and internal teams. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
