Senior It Support Specialist

IT Support Specialist Contract | €260-€280/day | Cork | Hybrid A client of mine is looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join their team in Cork.
This role focuses on delivering exceptional Level 2 and Level 3 support while contributing to system optimization and key IT initiatives.
Responsibilities: Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support across Windows environments, including troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Active Directory.
Oversee the configuration and maintenance of Office 365 applications and services.
Support IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and software deployments.
Monitor and maintain network performance, assisting with firewall and VPN configurations.
Document technical procedures and resolutions for knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations.Requirements: 8+ years of experience in IT support, with a focus on both Level 2 and Level 3 tasks.
Expertise in Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
Experience working with cloud services like Azure is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
