Senior Estimator/Estimating Manager - Louth, Ireland About Your New Company A leading mechanical contractor with over 20+ years industryexpertise in the design and build of offsite and prefabricated MEP solutions. This company has offices across the UK & Ireland and a strong portfolio of data center/pharmaceutical delivery contractors as clients. As a result of continued growth, this company is looking to hire an Estimating Manager to be based out of their new office in Louth. About Your New Job The Mechanical Estimating Manager will oversee the entire estimating process for mechanical projects, from initial concept to final bid submission. This role involves managing a team of estimators, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring that all estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in mechanical estimating, and a deep understanding of the construction industry. What Skills You'll Need Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical estimating, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related fields. Proficiency in estimating software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
