If so, look no further! We are currently working closely with a well-established consultancy to recruit a Senior or Associate Planner in Dublin, who is keen to gain exposure to the booming energy and renewable energy sector.
Please note, previous experience in the energy or renewable energy sector is not essential to succeed in this role.
My client is also managing a diverse existing pipeline of projects in the residential and commercial sector so with a good grounding in planning, you could hit the ground running with ease.
As a Senior or Associate Planner, you could progress with a well-balanced team that enjoys a 'family feel' culture, flexible working and regular socials, and have established a reputation for excellence whilst consulting on a growing pipeline of projects.
With the support of multiple teams across Ireland and GB, you could also gain exposure to projects on both sides of the Irish Sea, allowing you to further diversify your project pipeline and become an expert on a variety of planning systems.
Your responsibilities will include (depending on level):Manage planning applications through the development process.Write the detail on reports and planning documents or manage juniors in doing so.Meet clients and liaise with key stakeholders.Appraise potential sites for clients and conduct pre-application meetings and work.Keep up to date with changes in planning policy.Engage in business development at the more senior level, and mentor junior team members.Ideally you will:Be MIPI (Member of Irish Planning Institute) or equivalent.Have at least five years industry experience, in consultancy, client side or in a local authority.Demonstrate strong commercial understanding across the wider sector including planning.Be an excellent communicator with good technical and writing skills.Please apply here or give me (Tom) a call to discuss.
