Job Title: Senior Production SupervisorLocation: DroghedaReports to: Operations ManagerIndustry: Food ManufacturingJob Overview:Our client, a rapidly growing organisation in the fast-paced food industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Production Supervisor to join their team.
This is a key role responsible for leading teams of up to 40 people in a high-volume food manufacturing environment.
The position is predominantly day shifts Monday- Friday (7-3:30pm), with some Sunday work required.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage production teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a high-volume environment.Oversee the daily production schedules, ensuring targets and quality standards are met.Drive continuous improvement (CI) and lean manufacturing initiatives across the production facility.Lead lean projects aimed at optimising processes and enhancing efficiency.Collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement strategies that improve productivity and reduce waste.Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, food safety regulations, and company policies.Support team development and training to enhance performance and engagement.Key Requirements:Proven experience in a senior production or supervisory role within a food manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, with hands-on experience leading CI projects.Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining focus on quality and efficiency.Flexibility to work Sundays when required.This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive leader with a passion for continuous improvement to make an impact in a growing organisation.
