Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Software Developer who will be responsible for providing Level 3 engineering and troubleshooting assistance to application developers across various major software development language platforms.
The candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of how applications and systems leverage the Microsoft Identity Platform, Entra ID, and the Microsoft Graph API.
A detailed knowledge of Identity and Cybersecurity best practices related to authentication, authorization, and identity is essential.
The ideal candidate will deliver a range of services, including maturing partnerships with vendors and internal business customers to recommend secure configurations for custom and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software applications with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation of enterprise architecture standards according to identity best practices for mergers/migrations to the centralized federated authentication with Entra ID.Serve as a cross-platform technical subject matter expert for SSO technologies and provide operational consulting support to design engineers in BTS IT, Division IT, and end-user organizations requiring exceptional IT solutions.Educate and mentor colleagues on authentication and authorization design best practices and design principles for OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth as applicable to the IT infrastructure environment.Create documentation for specific application configurations based on testing in a test environment and work with the identity operations team to implement in Entra ID production per security practices.Participate in multi-discipline design or problem resolution sessions with vendors and internal business customers to set up and troubleshoot SSO connections as a Level 3 technical expert.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technology discipline.8+ years of experience with C#/.NET/Python/Java/Mobile app federation with Azure or similar technologies.Expertise in code signing and CI/CD pipelines for code deployment, including significant experience with DevOps practices.Experience with Code Repositories like AzureDevOps.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Powershell scripting and CI/CD pipeline implementations.Job Type & LocationThis is a hybrid position in Dublin, Ireland.
