Location: Hybrid (2 days in office) Gort, Co. Galway
At Natus, our Strategic Sourcing team is responsible for supporting Global Operations by developing and executing sourcing strategies for specific products and services. The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for executing the sourcing strategy through global supplier selection and relationship management, helping to ensure that we deliver the highest quality and lowest total cost solutions. Success will be achieved by collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for strategies, suppliers and to help implement solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join an expanding company and team in a key role as part of our supply chain supporting our Neuro product line.
Use analytics to track price variance and develop strategy for cost improvementManage diverse global supplier portfolio, contract manufacturers and distributorsControl price increases and achieve cost reductions through contract negotiations while maintaining supplier relationships, supply and qualitySupport Product Management and Engineering teams with New Product IntroductionsBenchmark best practices and industry trends with internal and external business partners to develop a roadmap and build a VIP pipeline of saving and value creation opportunitiesEngage with the required internal stakeholders to drive main initiatives and projects forward to meet cost saving initiativesContract Management – partner with Legal team to manage contracts, terms of business and drive favourable contract termsSupplier Performance management – monitor performance and delivery of contracted services with supplier portfolioReporting – Spend analysis, presentations to leadership team on key strategiesSupport sourcing deliverables to support acquisitions and/or consolidations as requiredTravel: 20% International travel
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar discipline preferredMinimum 5 years' experience in Strategic Sourcing or purchasing role ideally within a medical device industryExperience in sourcing of plastics, metals for Class 3 medical devices/equipment (preferred)Experience of working across global supplier baseStrong contract negotiation skills with cost saving achievementsExperience in team acquisitions by consolidationsExperience in Regulatory and Registrations (Global)Ability to deliver assigned projects and gate reviewsKnowledge and experience with driving initiatives that improve EBITA performanceDemonstrate the ability to lead with initiative and drive strategiesSystems experience of - Power BI, Oracle, Agile and ExcelEEO Statement: Natus Medical is an equal opportunity employer.
